For amounts required to be transferred from one account to another within India, NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) is the most popular method to do so.  Shivalik Bank does not charge any fee to effect funds transfer by way of NEFT or RTGS if a customer applies for the same ONLINE through internet banking portal. In case of manual applications tendered for NEFT / RTGS, a nominal charge is payable as per RBI guidelines.

If you wish to receive NEFT or RTGS into your Shivalik Bank account,  you need to provide your 12 digit bank account number as well as the IFS Code of the Shivalik Bank branch where you are maintaining your account to the person who is to send the NEFT or RTGS to you.  Once that person requests his bank to effect the NEFT,  you will receive it within a few hours.  If you do not know the IFS Code of your branch, here is the list of IFS Codes of various branches of Shivalik Bank.

We do not charge any amount from our regular customers for receiving their remittance through NEFT or RTGS.

If you are applying online for NEFT / RTGS, here are the timings to submit your online request:

For NEFT -  from 8 a.m. to 6.45 p.m.
For RTGS - from 8 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.
on all working days.  As you might be knowing, NEFT transactions are carried out in hourly batches. First batch is processed at 8 a.m. in the morning and last one at 7 p.m. by RBI.  So, in case, you apply for NEFT after 6.45 p.m.,  the NEFT will be processed in the first batch on next working day.
